We sandblasted the huge cargo handling and loading machines belonging to Gemport in Gemlik port on site.
We removed and cleaned the rusted and old yellow surface in SA 2.5 norm in every detail.
Afterwards, we planned to work in thick microns since it would be exposed to UV rays and oxidation from sea water due to being at the edge of the port.
We found it appropriate to apply 60 micron intermediate coat after 80 micron primer and 60 micron 2nd intermediate coat again.
As for the final coat, we delivered a total of 9 machines with a paint thickness of 300 microns with a yellow paint application that is quite challenging to apply between 90-100 microns.
PPG – International brand paint was used.
