We removed the paint and rust on the surface of the huge cargo handling and loading machines belonging to Rodaport in Gemlik port with specially prepared chemical remover solutions.
Afterwards, we planned to work in thick microns since it would be exposed to UV rays and oxidation from sea water due to being at the edge of the port.
We found it appropriate to apply 60 micron intermediate coat after 80 micron primer and 60 micron 2nd intermediate coat.
As for the final coat, we delivered a total of 5 machines with a paint thickness of 300 microns with a bright sea blue color application between 90-100 microns.
PPG – International brand paint was used.
